About Minal Dalal & Re-sourcing
Hello, and welcome.
I am Minal Dalal, a mentor for human becoming, an author, and a lifelong student of what it means to be fully human.
I started this blog in 2016. For years I wrote here almost every day: small reflections, questions, moments from life that taught me something. Over time, readers from more than 100 countries found their way here. Many of you have been with me since those early days, and I am grateful for every one of you.
Why “Re-sourcing”
I chose this name because I believe most of us are not lacking anything. We have simply moved away from our source: the essence within us that holds our deeper qualities, our values and our possibilities.
We have trainers for our careers, but who is training us for our life? This blog is my small attempt to answer that question. Every post is an invitation to return to the source, and to live from there.
My journey
I grew up in Mumbai in a middle-class Jain family, studied in a Gujarati-medium school, and graduated in Commerce from Sydenham College. My life has been shaped by traditions, and also by questioning them.
A turning point came when I held a religious scripture in my hands and wondered: how can one human’s work touch lives for 5,000 years and still continue? That question never left me. It led me to write my first book, Hriday Vistaar (2012), and after it I began mentoring young people. My second book, Bhavyatanu Nirman (2018), imagines a modern lineage of human becoming as a way of education.
Alongside this, I co-founded Amysh & Co. with my daughter. Being a mother has been one of my deepest teachers.
Today, my work continues through Adhyaant, which means from the beginning to the end. Through it, I offer Human Circles, 1:1 mentoring journeys, and self-led journals, all centred on inner evolution, vision expansion, relational intelligence and creative contribution.
What you will find here
Here I share shorter reflections on essence-led living, human becoming, relationships, purpose and the quiet inner work of growing up as a human being, at any age.
