I am Minal Dalal.
I live in Mumbai, where I have spent most of my life. I teach a philosophy and practice of inner evolution that I call Adhyaant, and I am, as much as anything else, a writer.
I began this work officially at the age of fifty-seven, with no prior work experience. Before that, I was preparing – though I did not always have language for what I was preparing for. Since my teenage years, I had known within me that I wanted to share the human potential path in a modern form. I did not know what shape it would take. I knew only that the wanting was real, and that I would have to wait to find out what was being asked of me.
The preparation took close to forty years.
In those four decades I was a daughter, a wife, a mother, a friend. I read. I listened. I sat with teachers. I sat with myself. I moved through the Indian wisdom traditions in conversation with contemporary psychology, and slowly an architecture began to form in me – a way of mapping the inner life of a human being, organised around four directions of a living life: find your ground, hear your direction, deepen your relating, give your gift. This is the work of Adhyaant. It is also the work of every breath I am still here to take.
The two questions that have held my entire journey:
Is my soul evolving? What are we here for?
I do not consider them to have been answered. I consider them to be the questions one keeps living inside.

What I am working on now
The most formal expression of my work is Letters from Adhyaant, a monthly contemplative letter that lives on Substack. It is written for the seeker who has done the first inner work – the meditation, the retreats, the books, the therapy – and is asking what holds it all together. If you would like to read more deeply with me, that is the place.
I also teach in person. The Soul Circle is a monthly gathering. Revealing Revolution and the Creative Intelligence Labare workshops I offer through the year. If you would like to come into the room, the work is more direct there.
My first book, The Master Shift, is forthcoming – a longer treatment of the architecture I work with.

About this page
re-sourcing.in is my notebook. It is where I write more often, more loosely, more personally than I do anywhere else. Field notes. Lines I am sitting with. Small practices that fit inside a real morning. Observations from teaching. Questions I have not yet finished asking.
I wrote here daily in 2016. Then life arranged itself differently and the page went quiet. I have returned, and I am writing again – once a week, or thereabouts. If you have followed across the silence, thank you. If you are new, welcome.
If you would like to be in touch – about the work, about a sentence here, about anything – the comments are open and I read each one. You can also write to me at [your email address].
